So Much Has Changed

Over the past year, I've moved from Chicago to Los Angeles, and with the change of location has come a number of other shifts:

I had to say goodbye to Big Mouth Talent in Chicago, who've taken such great care of me over the last three years.

I'm currently represented by Linda McAlister of Linda McAlister Talent, Christine Tarallo of BBA Talent, and Portia Scott of Coast to Coast Talent.  I'm being managed my Terrie Marroquin of TLynn Talent Management.  They are a great team, and I'm thrilled to be working with them!

I've recently completed three episodes as Mrs. Hendricks on the very funny Nickelodeon show, Henry Danger.  You can see me in episodes #207 and #212 (my scene in episode 205 is on the cutting room floor).

I have a commercial running for Nokien Tires, at present.  This year has also brought some film work: Everything's Green, directed by Santino Stoner, and If Not Now, directed by Lori Allred, for which I won Best Actress of the Denver 48 Hour Film Project.

That's it for now.  More to come, and Happy 2015!

The Break Up

Kate just wrapped a short film, The Break Up.  The film will be completed by May 30 and entered into RODES short film competition.

Thanks to Joshua Albanese, Brandon Ruiter, Ryan Farag, Candi Fuller, Josh Timmer, and Antonio Hernandez for a great shoot!

BMO Harris Bank

Kate just completed a shoot for BMO Harris Bank's upcoming commercial, "Weekend," along with some fine actors AND two of the Chicago Bulls, Joakim Noah and Jimmy Butler.  She thinks the work was pretty phenomenal and can't wait until the commercial airs.

A God Fearin' Man

This summer, Kate participated in Albuquerque's 48 Hour Film Project.  The film she acted in, "A God Fearin' Man," made by Reflection films and directed by John Broadhead, won Best Sound Design, Best Cinematography, Best Writing, Best Directing, and Best Film.  It moves on to the worldwide competition, Filmapalooza, in March 0f 2014.

Kate built her own website!  She wishes to thank Chris Amos, without whom she'd never have figured out how to alter the font size.

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park

Kate heads to Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park in late February to work with Cincinnati's Artistic Director, Blake Robison, in The Book Club Play by Karen Zacharias.  Kate's looking forward to diving into contemporary material, and will devote any free time to exploring Over-the-Rhine and seeing the Reds play ball.

Busch Gardens

In August, Kate traveled to Tampa, FL, and Williamsburg, VA, to ride roller coasters and parent three kids in service of a regional Busch Gardens Commercial.  She had a great time, met some superb folks, and got very close to the cheetahs.  Her commercial airs regionally in January of 2013.
